Post #1 -- Before NSO

o What concerns or worries do you have?I'll be honest. I've had all my family go to BYU. I'm transferring from another University this semester and don't know what to expect.
Everyone makes it seem like BYU academic politics make it so you have to kill yourself to get an A. I have good grades, I guess I'm worried about the stigmas of other universities being "easy" and not being able to keep my grades once I enter BYU.
o What are you excited about or anxiously awaiting? Honestly, I just want the new International Cinema movie list for Winter to come out.
o What questions do you have? Is BYU really that hard or is it just lazy people excusing themselves?
o What are you expecting to gain by participating in NSO? I want to know how to be able to suceed in this new enviroment. I want to know all of the different tools, helps, labs and online resources. Believe me or not...it took me a day to find the books I need in my classes using Route Y. I had advisors direct me to expired links.
